Feeling a little down to be posting my final photos from Sydney. The trip was so incredible and it feels like a dream to look back on it as a whole. I had foolishly thought that a 3 week trip down under would curb my obsession with Australia… Unfortunately, I was completely wrong and am now more infatuated with the country than ever before. I’m ready to go back!
We spent less time in Sydney than anywhere else in Australia, and so many of our Sydney plans were outdoors… Naturally, it was rainy and gloomy the whole time and we ended up having to make alternative indoor plans. This led to shopping, visiting the aquarium, and discovering a few amazing restaurants (The Butler in Potts Point as well as The Potting Shed at the Grounds of Alexandria were favorites). We finally got lucky on our very last day and the sun came out in all of its glory! Going to Bondi Beach was the one thing that we absolutely could not miss out on, so we spent the full day there… brunching at Porch & Parlour, laying on the beach for a few hours, taking a million photos of Bondi Icebergs, and doing the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk. By this point, I had done all of my Australian shopping so was able to wear two new purchases from Aussie labels: a handmade crochet swimsuit by She Made Me paired with the incredible Paisley Sabbath skirt by Lottie Hall (one of my absolute favorite Aussie designers). Vans were a solid shoe choice because they are practically the official shoe of Australia and they were also perfect for our coastal hike. I really love how fresh and bright all of the pieces looked together under the beaming sun! An amazing way to spend the last day in Aus.
