Dayle Wearing: By The Fire Dress | Rubi Sandals | Seed Heritage Panama Hat | Forever21 Necklace
So I've been taking most of my blog photos by the ocean (all of them?), I hope no one is getting tired of the scenery! I mean, I have an endless scape of pacific ocean in my backyard and I KNOW Torontonians can't say the same so I hope they're enjoying the oceanic landscape. It is beautiful. Especially now that August is rolling in. The breezes are shifting from bone chilling to blood warming and the water is turning a perfect hue of cyan and turquoise. This particular spot is a new favourite of mine. Discovered by my other half when he was on a run and subconsciously scouting possible shoot locations (as I had subtly requested over coffee one day). There is a perfect view of the city meeting the sea, and I'm reminded how lucky I am to be studying here. Blah, blah, blah, I'm homesick and emotional. On to other things!
The outfit is a simple mesh & crochet shift dress from a Princess Polly Warehouse sale. It was $5 with a damage tag but since my 20/20 vision (LOL, kidding) couldn't find anything abnormal I figured I'd hit the gold mine. Spoiler: I did, there is nothing wrong with it. The white, woven panama hat and sandals made it a perfect outfit to wear beach side. In the Spring. When I can't wear a bathing suit. Otherwise, bathing suit. I also added a pair of Le Specs sunnies in the 'Shop Below' section that I have been drooling over for months. The reflective lenses are amazing!
