In my younger days I was a big fan of colour. Not in the sense that I'd be wearing a rainbow of different brights every day, but I certainly wouldn't shy away from purchasing an electric blue skirt when the same one also comes in black. As I have now entered my mid twenties (WAH), my wardrobe has begun to veer more towards neutrals. Yuck, how sensible of me! Now, before we start to mourn the lack of colour in my closet, allow me to bring this issue full circle and say that the one occasion in which I still fully embrace colour is on VACATION! Party confetti emoji!!!!!! Yes indeed, there is something about the sun, sea, and sand (and tropical cocktails) that will always have me reaching for the most colourful of dresses. Enter this Mara Hoffman number! She is the queen of cheerful brights, aztec prints, and vaycay appropriate silhouettes, and I was so happy to be able to don one of her designs during my recent trip to Mexico. Even if I'm in monotones during my daily grind, I can still relish in the fact that my holiday attire will always be the sunny spot in my wardrobe.
