We've come to the conclusion that every Canadian deserves a sunny break from winter. After six cold, snowy, vitamin D deficient months we're both so miserable that it's hard for us to display pleasant behaviour in work and social situations. We try though :) On that note, I relocated myself to Central America for 10 days! Migrating across two borders we found ourselves in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. This small surf town was full of backpackers and surfers abiding by the region's aphorism, Pura Vida. So true. Eating organic fruits and vegetables every day, relaxing on a surf board in bath water waves, strolling through a town with one paved road makes me wish I could live the simple life more often. ANYWAY, enough rambling! Another great thing to come out of this country were the photos. We resided in a breezy, bright yellow villa across from a black sand beach. I embraced my warm-weather wardrobe with these enviably cool light wash ripped denim dungarees. Paired 'em with a white high neck sleeveless cami and white leather chunk sandals to highlight my tan. I've been trying to make denim overalls work for a long time now and I think I have finally prevailed. They were without question my most worn piece of clothing on this trip! To top it all off, some sensational sunset photos wearing Zara tropical print shorts and a Brandy Melville backless tee.
